Generally speaking, as we get older we tend to lose flexibility, and in the backswing that usually leads to making adjustments in our backswing to make up for the loss of rotation.
In order to compensate for our diminished rotation we tend to make, what turns out to be, negative adjustments, which in turn makes the problem worse.
