Becoming a good chipper is probably one of the most important skills you can have in your bag. Maybe even more important than putting. Why? Because the average golfer will hit between 3 and 5 greens in regulation.

That means you will likely be chipping onto the green between 72% and 83% of the time. So, if you can learn to more consistently chip the ball into gimme territory, you may not have to putt at all. Unfortunately most of us just don’t spend enough time practicing the art of chipping.
